The last round of the TCR Germany ist the hotspot of the championship fight with no less than four title candidates. And after this first race at Sachsenring, the fight is still open.

Dominik Fugel took a start-finish-victory in a calm race at the front. Behind him the title contenders Antti Buri, Mike Halder and Harald Proczyk finished the race in the top 4. The championship leader Max Hesse had a problem in the last lap and came home with P8.

Michelle Halder started from place 9 and drove a clean race. She fought defensive against the persecuters Pascal Eberle and Julien Apotheloz. Over the whole race she held her 7th place and benefited from the bad luck of Max Hesse and Mitchell Cheah, who lost the track while fighting for positions and got stuck in the gravel. The saftey car came out and the restart was the point for some good fights in the midfield. Halder was able to save her 5th place and the 1st place in the junior ranking. She came home with the title lead and has good chances to win it tomorrow in the last race of this season.

For the second woman in the field, Sophie Hofmann, it was a though race. She had some trouble and finished the race on P17.

Tomorrow is all or nothing. There are four title candidates in the main championship and every point ist maybe THE point. And for Michelle Halder the fight is on for the junior championship. She now has a small gap of 9,5 points to René Kircher and wants to win it.

Michelle Halder said on her Instagram account
