One more top-10 for Hailie Deegan in ARCA Series

Coming from her best ARCA Menards career result at Lucas Oil Speedway, Deegan took home a convincing 8th place in the final seasonal round in Kansas.

The young  NASCAR star got back behind the wheel of the #55 Venturini Motorsport car last weekend to compete in the ARCA Menards Series season finale at Kansas City, Missouri.

The ARCA Kansas 150 was Deegan's sixth career appearance in the ARCA Menards series, and the 18-year old came into the Kansas Speedway round after fifth place claimed at Lucas Oil Speedway two weeks before, her best result ever in the ARCA sanctioned-series.

That also was the first time Hailie Deegan competed in a long one-mile track. "I never raced on a mile-a-half track before so I think it's going to take a little bit getting used to, especially since I'm not testing. Hopefully I'll pick up on it quick, do some simulator work and I hope to have another strong finish"- said Deegan before the race.

The California native driver, currently racing also in the K&N Pro-Series West full season, proved once again to have the potential for a major level NASCAR series. After conquering three Top-Ten finish and one Top-Five in her previous ARCA Menards appearances this year, Hailie Deegan added a strong eight place to her resumé after the Kansas City last seasonal round.

The #55 Venturini driver, starting from the sixth grid row, moved up into the top-ten positions in the initial stages of the race, and then managed a solid run until the checkered flag, concluding the ARCA Menards season with another convincing Top-Ten result.

At Kansas Speedway the championship trophy was also assigned, with young Christian Eckes managing to cross the finish line in first position and thus claiming the championship title by finishing ahead of his main contender Michael Self.

In 2020, the ARCA Menards series and the NASCAR Pro Series West and East will combine under the ARCA Menards banner. The season will start on February 8th at Daytona International Speedway.
