Like in 2019, the Halder siblings Michelle and Mike will compete in the German TCR with Profi-Car as main sponsor of their Honda Civic TCR in 2020.
Michelle Halder was the first woman to score a victory in the history of TCR Germany last year at Zandvoort, taking the Profi-Car Team Honda ADAC Sachsen to the vice-champion title in the team rankings. In 2019, Michelle Halder also claimed the Junior Champion crown. Today's announcement is thus the best way to start the new season, with her brother Mike Halder and Profi-Car also confirmed on the TCR Germany 2020 grid.
The championship will see 14 races in taking place in Germany, Czech Republic, Austria and the Netherlands, beginning on 24. to 26. April at the Motorsport Arena, Oschersleben.
The series will once again support the ADAC GT Masters events and will benefit from the exclusive partnership with Yokohama as a tyre supplier for the second consecutive year.
Still a long way to the first round, the Halder siblings are starting to prepare well ahead of the new season: after four years in the series, Mike targets the title and Michelle is looking forward to fight for higher-end of the classify. She proved to be as fast as her colleagues in 2019 and, after her first win and the junior championship title, she is now ready for more victories in 2020.
