Arianna Casoli is ready for her seventh EuroNASCAR campaign - this time with a new team: the experienced Italian driver joins forces with SpeedHouse and will get behind the wheel of the #14 white and blue Ford Mustang. “I’m really happy about the opportunity to be part of the project created by Lucas Lasserre with SpeedHouse" - said Arianna, who will compete for Lasserre's outfit in the EN2 division. "I know Lucas since some years and I always appreciate his determination and his racing mood: always smiling but really strong and professional." "Lucas has a strong personality and is a very fast driver who knows how to match competitiveness and the spirit of belonging typical of the pure racing EuroNASCAR world", continued the driver from Reggio Emilia, Italy. Casoli has become a fan-favourite in the EuroNASCAR paddock thanks to her friendly and bright personality. 'LadyNASCAR' - as she is often referred to by her fans - will be back for her seventh season in the European NASCAR-sanctioned series and will target her fourth Lady Trophy title and second Legend Trophy crown. Arianna made her debut in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series in 2016 and won the female championship in 2016, 2019 and 2021. She would also claim the Legend Trophy - a classify dedicated to drivers over 40 - in 2020. We will also see Casoli in a brand-new livery - a white and blue scheme with a touch of pink - and a new number, the #14 which has a special meaning for her family racing tradition. Constant presence will be her trademark gecko. “I have the desire to constantly learn, grow and be an example for the new generations, especially for female drivers" - continued Casoli. "I will be at the start of my seventh season in EuroNASCAR with the number 14 and new colors, with a touch of pink, along with my inseparable gecko, to make tangible to everyone this new chapter of my career. I can’t wait to hit the track on May 14-15 at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.” Arianna will work closely with Lasserre to further develop the team: "I'm sure that our plan for the season will help me to improve my driving skills and I can’t wait to begin this new chapter of my racing career" - she stated. "I hope we will have fans in the paddock again and there are very good vibes and hope among teams, drivers and all the EuroNASCAR circus." "My personal expectations for the coming season are related to improving myself and having fun." Casoli has scored a best result of fifth in 2020 at Zolder, also finishing 7 times within the top-15 and ending the season in 11th place in the standings. In 2021, she had another very strong finish at Most, Czech Republic, where she finished tenth. She completed her sixth EuroNASCAR campaign in 18th place. "As the team owner, I’m happy to confirm Arianna Casoli in our driver line-up for the 2022 NWES season,” Lasserre said. “Arianna will bring all her EuroNASCAR experience and a great atmosphere with her smile for sure. Speedhouse Racing is set to provide her with the best opportunity to reach our common goals in the upcoming season and I will personally coach Ary. Arianna is the perfect match to Speedhouse Racing’s values: racing, style and good times!” The 2022 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series will get underway on May 14-15 At Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain - first of six double-header rounds.
