Carrie Schreiner becomes Sauber F1 Team Brand Ambassador

After concluding her two-year F1 Academy stint, Carrie Schreiner will continue her motorsport career while also embracing a new role as Team Brand Ambassador for KICK Sauber F1 Team in 2025, building on her on-track experience and passion to engage with fans, inspire young talent, and promote the team's values.

Having just concluded her second season in the all-female F1 Academy championship and having therefore reached the two-year limit, Carrie Schreiner will continue her racing career in 2025 - but the legacy of her F1 Academy career stint will continue, as the German will also take on a new role: Carrie will in fact become Team Brand Ambassador for KICK Sauber F1 Team from 2025 onwards.

Schreiner, 26, has in fact been appointed in the new role by the team at the end of her year representing the Hinwil-based squad, and will therefore remain part of the Sauber family, bringing her passion and experience to continue engaging with fans and stakeholders alike.

Schreiner started her racing career in karting and became the first ever female driver to win the ADAC karting championship in 2012, in the X30 Junior category. She then graduated to race cars in 2015, and contested two seasons in the ADAC F4 Championship, then a double program in the German and British series where she scored her first points.

In GT cars Schreiner made headlines, as she contested some of the most competitive racing series at the wheel of the most diverse GT4 and GT3 cars. Her GT racing career started from the Lamborghini SuperTrofeo - where she won the Middle-East Cup in 2018 - then went on to graduate to ADAC GT Masters in 2019, securing a historic first podium in Hockenheim.

Schreiner became a GT3 specialist and continued to collect notable results in NLS - including a 24 Hours of Nürburgring class win in 2021 - Italian GT, GTC GT60 by Pirelli and Porsche Sports Cup Endurance.

At the launch of F1 Academy, Schreiner made her return to F4 machinery after seven years: her readaptation was a quick one and she was soon competitive, scoring points consistently and winning her first single seater race in Zandvoort.

Carrie then moved to Campos Racing for her sophomore campaign, in the KICK Sauber F1 Team-supported entry. The German continued to be a consistent point-scorer, finishing nine times in the top 10, with two sixth-place finishes as personal best in Zandvoort and at the Abu Dhabi finale. She finished ninth in the championship standings, improving on an 11th of her first year.

At the end of her F1 Academy chapter, Schreiner will now have the opportunity to continue the Sauber collaboration in her new role,  promoting the team’s values while mentoring the next generation of talents in parallel with continuing her motorsport career.
