Carrie Schreiner adds a GT3 program to her schedule: she joins Schnitzelalm Racing in NLS, sharing the Mercedes AMG GT3 with Peter Terting for the final five rounds of Nürburgring Nordschleife-based series.
Carrie Schreiner has raced in some of the most important GT championships in Europe, including top GT3 series such as ADAC GT Masters, Italian GT, NLS. In 2021, Schreiner had an incredibly busy season that brought her to combine programs in Italian GT, ADAC GTC, NLS and BMW M2 Cup. Together with the Girls Only team, she claimed SP8 class victory in the ADAC 24 Hours of the Nürburgring, in an all-female crew. This year, the 23 year-old German will contest a double program in GTC and Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie once again, this time moving to the Mercedes brand. Together with Peter Terting, Schreiner made her debut at the wheel of the Mercedes AMG GT3 machine at the Barcelona round of the GT Winter Series, where she highly impressed with two charges through the field to take overall podiums. In the first race of the ADAC GTC championship, she partnered GT3 rookie David Schumacher, racing in the Schaeffler Paravan "Space-Drive" equipped AMG GT3. She was previously announced as part of the Girls Only crew once again - as the team moved from Audi to BMW machinery for the season in progress. A practice crash ruled out the team for the first race of the NLS season, while NLS 2 was postponed for adverse weather. Schreiner will return to the Girls Only by WS Racing's BMW M4 GT4 for the qualifying race and the mighty 24 Hours of the Nürburgring - while she will focus on a new GT3 program in NLS with Schnitzelalm Racing, sharing a Mercedes AMG GT3 with Terting. Schreiner had raced at the Nordschleife in GT3 before, in a one off appearance in the Hella Pagid - Racing One's Ferrari 488 GT3. The young racer has now collected GT3 experience with Audi, Ferrari and Mercedes brands - making her one of the most promising female young talents in GT racing.
