Carrie Schreiner is set to make her GT World Challenge Europe debut in both the sprint and endurance series as she joins Tresor Attempto Racing in 2026 aboard the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II.

Carrie Schreiner has completed many GT seasons; three of these seasons were in the ADAC GT Masters. She is now coming to the international stage with GT World Challenge Europe.
The 27 years old Saarland-based racing driver Carrie Schreiner already boasts a wealth of experience. After various stints in junior formula racing and having joined the Girls only Team at the Nürburgring, she specialized in GT racing. By this time, Schreiner had already achieved considerable success in championships with Lamborghini.
The next logical step was a natural progression into the ADAC GT Masters. The sportscar series was considered the toughest junior championship in GT racing, increasingly attracting professional and well-known drivers. Despite this, the German driver made her breakthrough in 2019: at the Hockenheim race weekend, she not only celebrated her birthday but also became the first woman ever to achieve a podium finish. After a second season, she moved to the Italian GT Championship before committing to the F1 Academy for two years. Last year, she competed again in the ADAC GT Masters, but was plagued by bad luck.
The big breakthrough is planned for 2026, and the opportunity has presented itself: Carrie will join Tresor Attempto Racing, a GT team from Germany, for the GT World Challenge Europe.
"I’m delighted to be driving for Tresor Attempto Racing again after my first tests in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo over eight years ago“, Carrie said. This championship is considered the strongest and most important international GT3 series in the world. It offers a correspondingly high level of prestige.
Carrie also knows about this challenges: "In the GT World Challenge, we want to be at the front of our class – with sometimes over 50 cars in the field, it’s going to be incredibly tough racing. Moreover, a large number of the best GT drivers in the world will be competing“.
A particular highlight is the world’s largest pure GT3 race: the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. This race hosts countless GT3 cars every year. It is considered to be among the most demanding, toughest, and most prestigious races in the sports car world. This is comparable to Daytona, Le Mans, and the Nürburgring. The unique aspect here is that, unlike the other races mentioned above, there is only one vehicle class. Therefore, the drivers are much more occupied with traffic management than on other tracks. Her experience with the heavy traffic of the NLS should prove beneficial here.
In addition to this season highlight, the GTWC Europe season includes four more races each in the Endurance Cup and the Sprint Cup. Carrie’s team already won the latter in 2023, so the goal for the current season will be similarly ambitious. Schreiner will share the Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II with one other driver in the Sprint Cup and with two in the Endurance Cup; the full lineup will be announced at a later date. The season kicks off at Circuit Paul Ricard from April 11th to 12th. The season finale will be held in Portimao from October 16th to 18th. Schreiner will also have a home race at the Nürburgring from August 28th to 30th.
Nürburgring is a good keyword. Schreiner will not only be competing in the GTWC Europe series: she will also be racing, as usual, in the NLS series with her Girls-Only team. This team, where not only the driver positions but also all car-related jobs are exclusively held by women, is changing cars this year. Instead of the BMW GT4, they will be using a Porsche 992 Cup from this season onwards. Due to scheduling conflicts with GTWC Europe, Carrie will miss a few NLS races.
The season opener already clashes with the third race at the Nürburgring. The Saarland native will also miss NLS 7, as the race clashes with the GTWC Europe event at Magny-Cours. However, according to current plans, she will still compete in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring with her teammates. The exact lineup for the Girls Only Porsche is not yet finalized. However, it’s safe to assume that Janina Schall will be aiming to defend her Ladies Trophy and that the team will field other familiar faces.
Over the years, driving various cars, Carrie has already secured several class wins and narrowly missed her first overall podium finish for a GT4 car last year. She hopes to add to that tally in the new Porsche. She has also gained experience with various models and racing series from the manufacturer, repeatedly demonstrating her considerable talent. This combination bodes well for good results.
Carrie Schreiner’s actual racing season begins in the GT Winter Series from February 5th to 8th with the 6 Hours of Portimao (Portugal). She will compete in another race in this series from March 5th to 8th in Aragon (Spain). There, she will again drive for the North German team Tresor Attempto Racing in an Audi GT3. Last year, Carrie already participated in several races in this championship, finishing on the podium in all of them, mostly with class wins. This year, her focus is primarily on preseason preparation. The circuit in the Algarve also hosts the GTWC Europe season finale.
Schreiner remains active even away from the racetrack, as she continues as an ambassador and supporter of Audi’s new Formula 1 team. She will also support the F1 Academy team's entry as a mentor. It will be a very busy year for the Saarland native.
"2026 will be a challenging year for me and another important step in my career“, she explains. "And I thank the entire Audi Revolut F1 Team family for the trust they have placed in me. I will give it my all“.
