Christina Lam will contest the full 2026 season of the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli National Championship, beginning this weekend at Sebring International Raceway.

Lam steps up to one of North America’s most historic road racing platforms after competing last season in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. Backed by title sponsor Helium Mobile and longtime partner CDR, she will drive the Helium Mobile/CDR Chevrolet Camaro in the TA2 Series Pro/Am Challenge under the TRB Autosport banner.

The move marks another important step in Lam’s development as a professional racing driver, with Trans Am offering a high-level, competitive environment she has been targeting to refine her racecraft and gain experience. Heading into 2026, Lam’s objectives are clear: continue progressing, maximize learning opportunities and establish the foundations for success in professional motorsport.

The American racer brings several years of grassroots and semi-professional experience across North America. Her résumé includes SCCA National Championship, SCCA Hoosier Super Tour, American Endurance Racing and the World Racing League, before her IMSA debut. Lam was also named a finalist for the IMSA Diverse Driver Development Scholarship in both 2025 and 2026. Over the course of her career, she has driven TC, TCA, TCR, GT4 and GT3 machinery.

In the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, Lam demonstrated steady progress despite a part-time campaign, finishing inside the top ten twice in the ultra-competitive TCR class - at the season-opening round in Daytona and again at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Her 2026 programme is further strengthened by the collaboration with TRB Autosport, providing a robust support structure built on extensive Trans Am expertise, which makes the partnership a natural fit for Lam’s first full season in the championship.

Helium Mobile will also expand its presence in the paddock by backing reigning 2025 Pro/Am Champion Jared Odrick, who remains with TRB Autosport for the 2026 campaign.

"Trans Am has always been on my radar as the place I wanted to race and prove myself", Lam explained. "The history of this series speaks for itself - so many drivers have come through here, competed at the highest level, and gone on to bigger opportunities because of what they built in Trans Am."

"That's exactly what I'm here to do", she continued. "This is a development year for me and I'm approaching it that way. I am here to learn, make progress every single weekend, and grow into the best driver I can be. Having Helium Mobile and CDR in my corner, and Troy and TRB Autosport running my program, gives me everything I need to do exactly that. I can't wait to get on track."

The 2026 Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli season is scheduled to begin on February 28 at Sebring, where Lam will officially launch her full-season campaign in the TA2 Pro/Am ranks.
