The "Girls Only" team project launches a Crowdfunding campaign for a new exciting future

Two years ago, the "Girls only" project by Giti Tire was launched. Today, the all-female team has a new vision: to expand its operations with a new Audi R8 LMS GT4 and an impressive further step: a LMP3 prototype to take the highly professional squad to a whole new level around the world.

The coming year will be the third racing season for WS Racing´s all-female project: the revolutionary team, sponsored by tyre manufacturer Giti Tire is in fact among the very few outfit not only to feature exclusively female drivers onboard, but also all crew members are also women - from team boss, to management, engineers and mechanics.


Alongside Giti Tire, Volkswagen has also partnered with the project to turn it into reality in 2019; the first idea was already set in 2015, but time and resources were not in place until four years later. Now, the team has successfully taken off and claimed their best result with a class victory at the final 2019 VLN race at the Nürburgring.

The team contested the 2020 NLS season lining up Carrie Schreiner, Célia Martin and Laura Kraihamer, while it already announced that Indy500 veteran Pippa Mann will also join the ranks in 2021.


The ground-breaking squad now needs our help for a new exciting adventure: as "Girls Only" is set to expand its operation with a new Audi R8 LMS GT4 for the endurance racing series (NLS, formerly VLN) and the 24 Hours race at the Nürburgring, it will also move one step closer to the big goal of the year - a Le Mans Prototype in the LMP3 class.

To bring the girl power around the world is a massive plan and we - and you - can be a part of it too.


A big crowdfunding campaign was launched on the Indiegogo platform with some really remarkable perks for supporters of women in motorsport and for the German team: from face masks to merchandise; from a Meet & Greet VIP Race Event to a B2B Marketing Package. Or - one of the coolest - fans pictures can be featured on the cars' liveries throughout the racing season!


Stagnation is Regression! Even if this sounds trite, this little sentence embodies the trigger for our endeavours and the reason for our ambitions to further develop and reach the next level.
