Race winning trio Rahel Frey, Michelle Gatting and Sarah Bovy will continue to represent Iron Dames in 2024, as they team up for the upcoming European Le Mans Series season aboard the #85 Porsche 911 GT3 R.

Frey, Gatting and Bovy have shared the wheel since the 2021 6H of Monza, when Bovy first joined the main Iron Dames line up, and continued to collect class podiums – and wins – in GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, ELMS, WEC. Together, they made history by becoming the first ever all female team to win in World Endurance Championship at the 2023 season finale in Bahrain, also signing the final victory for the LMGTE category.

As a trio, they have so far collected 8 podiums and class 2 wins across the championships.

Iron Dames will return to the European Le Mans Series in the new LMGT3 class after a year's absence from the series. In 2022 they finished third in the standings, having secured a first win in Portimao – with Doriane Pin also part of the crew – and a second place at Spa Francorchamps.

In 2023, Iron Dames switched from Ferrari machinery to Lamborghini in IMSA and GT World Challenge Europe, while moving to the Porsche GTE platform for their WEC campaign. With the GTE class discontinued, Iron Dames will continue to contest FIA WEC and IMSA with GT3 machinery, but will continue their successful journey with Porsche in ELMS, in a partnership with Proton Competition.

The all-female team announced their full FIA WEC line up last week, with Michelle Gatting, Sarah Bovy and Doriane Pin tackling the LMGT3 class in the World Endurance Championship. Frey – who is also Iron Dames' project manager – will therefore also return in a full role behind the wheel in ELMS.

The 2024 calendar includes 6 rounds, starting from the 4H of Barcelona on 14th April, before rounds at Le Castellet, Imola, Spa Francorchamps, Mugello and Portimao.
