The TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team announced that Czech racer Gabriela Jílková will hold the role of simulator and development driver for the team in the upcoming season, and will therefore work alongside the Stuttgart-based squad on the setup and development of the Porsche 99X Electric.

Jílková, 28, has worked behind the scenes with the team in 2023 as well at the simulator and had the opportunity to drive the actual car at the Valencia Rookie Test last October, becoming the first woman to drive a Formula E car since 2020.

Gabriela will support Pascal Wehrlein and António Félix da Costa – Porsche's racing drivers in FE – as well as André Lotterer and David Beckmann, who have been named reserve drivers.

Having raced in both single seaters and endurance racing at the beginning of her career, Jílková made a name for herself in simracing before returning behind the wheel in GT4 machinery, where she collected notable results in GT Winter Series – including a championship title – ADAC GT4 Germany and GT4 Europe. In 2023, Jílková won the Matmut female shootout and secured a seat in FFSA GT, where she would finish third in the class standings. In a double program, she made her debut in prototypes in the competitive Prototype Cup, which proved to be a highly rewarding campaign with a win to her name at Zandvoort.

Gabriela will now aim to impress the German manufacturer with her simulator work and potentially get a bigger involvement within the team in the future.
