Nicole Drought's first Iberian Supercars campaign continued at Jarama as the Irish driver converted strong pace into GTX AM class victories and two top-ten overall finishes in another competitive performance aboard the #75 Protech Motorsport Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 CS.

After showing encouraging speed at Portimão and recovering from adversity to score a class podium, Drought arrived at Jarama looking to build on that momentum. She immediately delivered by claiming GTX AM pole position in Q1 with a lap of 1:43.591, while teammate Lucas Fothergill backed that up with another GTX AM pole in Q2 thanks to a 1:43.726 effort.
Starting Race 1 as the GTX AM class leader, Drought immediately settled into a commanding rhythm. Running 12th overall, she steadily increased her advantage over the chasing Cup cars while maintaining control of the class position. Her pace remained highly competitive throughout the stint, allowing her to climb to ninth overall by lap 11 after passing Rodrigo Pires.
Drought continued extending her stint and briefly cycled as high as sixth overall before eventually pitting on lap 13 and handing the car to Fothergill. The duo retained control of GTX AM throughout the race and Fothergill brought the Porsche home ninth overall and first in GTX AM, giving Drought her first class victory in the championship.
Race 2 followed a similar pattern. Although Fothergill lost positions on the opening lap and briefly dropped to 15th overall, he successfully maintained the GTX AM lead while navigating traffic from other classes and eventually recovering through the field.
Following the pit stop sequence, Drought took over and once again displayed strong consistency. Despite receiving a 10-second penalty for crossing the white line at pit exit, she maintained a comfortable advantage thanks to competitive lap times and a healthy gap both ahead and behind.
At the finish, Drought and Fothergill secured another GTX AM victory while finishing tenth overall, completing a very solid weekend that further established the Irish driver as one of the most competitive newcomers in the championship.
The championship now heads to the Vila Real street circuit in Portugal for the next round on 10-12 July.
