Jamie Chadwick will drive for Jaguar TCS Racing in the Rookie Free Practice session at the Formula E Jeddah E-Prix, marking her second outing in the Jaguar I-TYPE 7.

Jamie Chadwick is set to drive for Jaguar TCS Racing in the Rookie Free Practice session at the upcoming Jeddah E-Prix.
As part of an additional free practice session for the 2024/25 FIA Formula E Saudi round, Chadwick will take the wheel of the Jaguar I-TYPE 7 at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit for the 'FP0' session, reserved to rookies, which is scheduled for Thursday, 13 February.
This will be Chadwick’s second outing in the Jaguar I-TYPE 7, following her impressive run at the FIA Formula E official Women’s Test in Jarama at the end of last year, where she finished second fastest. She had also previously tested for the team during the 2020 Marrakesh Rookie Test.
The three-time W Series champion secured 11 victories in the all-female championship between 2019 and 2022, before stepping up to IndyCar's main feeder series IndyNXT - where she claimed a pole position and a historic race win in her second season in 2024.
“I am looking forward to driving for Jaguar TCS Racing at the Jeddah E-Prix", Chadwick said. "It was a great experience to drive the Jaguar I-TYPE 7 in Madrid last year and work closely with a World Championship-winning team, so I am relishing the opportunity to get behind the wheel again at a brand-new circuit."
“It is the first time Formula E has raced in Jeddah, so I know how important my feedback, data and insights on the race car and the track will be for the team.”
FIA Formula E proviously raced at the Ad Diriyah street circuit in Riyadh, before being moved in 2025 to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, on a shortened layout of the facility that also hosts the F1 Saudi Grand Prix.
“It is great to have Jamie back with Jaguar TCS Racing for the Rookie Free Practice session in Jeddah next week", added James Barclay, Jaguar TCS Racing Team Principal. “Jamie did a great job for the team at the women’s test in Madrid, both with her speed and professional approach, and we look forward to having her in the car once again."
The inaugural Jeddah E-Prix will take place on 14-15 February 2025.
