Lindsay Brewer ran one of her strongest weekends in Lamborghini Super Trofeo at Laguna Seca, the second round of the 2026 North American season, securing a second-place finish in Race 2 to make up for an unfortunate first race where a second-place result on track was demoted to fifth due to a penalty.
Brewer, alongside Forty7 Motorsports teammate Keawn Tandon, executed an excellent second race to secure their third ProAm podium of the season from four starts, moving up to second in the championship standings.
Brewer returned to the series after securing the AM class vice-champion title in 2025 in her first year in sportscar racing, following a transition from single-seaters. She was immediately competitive, finding strong pace in the AM class alongside Jem Hepworth, with the duo securing two class wins and a consistent run of podiums to finish second in the championship.
In 2026, Brewer joined Forty7 Motorsports for her sophomore campaign, stepping up to the ProAm class alongside Keawn Tandon. The pairing proved immediately competitive, fighting at the front of the class at the Sebring opener, where they secured second and third-place finishes.
After back-to-back podiums on their ProAm debut, Brewer and Tandon arrived at Laguna Seca with a striking new pearl pink livery on the #77 Forty7 Motorsports Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2.
Free practice began positively, with Brewer and Tandon setting the second-fastest time in ProAm in FP1, with Brewer showing encouraging pace. The duo followed this up with the sixth-fastest time in FP2.
In Qualifying 1, Keawn Tandon took the wheel and led the early minutes overall. However, a technical issue for Porter brought out a red flag at Turn 2 with five minutes remaining, and the session was not resumed. Despite the limited running, Tandon secured third in ProAm and ninth overall.
For Qualifying 2, Lindsay Brewer took over driving duties. She initially set a lap good enough for fifth in ProAm, then improved her time slotting into seventh as more times were recorded. A red flag caused by Shahi at Turn 11 halted the session with three minutes remaining, leaving Brewer in seventh in class, just 0.04 seconds shy of the top five in an extremely tight class field.

Race 1 took place later on Saturday afternoon under cloudy skies. Keawn Tandon started third in ProAm and inside the overall top ten. He made a clean start and gained an overall position on the Pro entry of Gonzalez. On lap two, Avery Towns’ #55 Pro car went off and ended up stranded in the gravel at Turn 3, triggering a full course yellow.
Racing resumed with 37 minutes remaining, with Tandon running seventh overall. As the pit window approached, he stayed out for more laps and climbed as high as second overall by lap 14. Tandon pitted on lap 15 as the #33 car of Trinka came to a halt on track, timing the stop to cover a potential caution. Lindsay Brewer took over the car.
Brewer rejoined third in ProAm and ninth overall, around two seconds ahead of her former teammate Jem Hepworth. She quickly passed Heffring for second in ProAm and settled into a strong rhythm, running consistent 1:26 lap times while extending her advantage over the cars behind.
She built a gap of six seconds to Fuentes and maintained consistent pace in the 1:26 range, showing excellent consistency and racecraft. However, the #77 Forty7 Motorsports entry was handed a 10-second post-race penalty for an engine running infringement during the pit stop.
Despite a mistake-free stint, where she held the gap to around four seconds in the closing stages, the penalty proved costly. Brewer crossed the line eighth overall and second in class on track, but was ultimately classified fifth in ProAm.

Race 2 on Sunday took place in mixed conditions, with a damp track following earlier rain and overcast skies. After Saturday’s disappointment, Brewer lined up seventh in class, determined to capitalize on the pace she had shown.
The race began behind the safety car, going green on lap two. Chaos unfolded into Turn 2 as Persing and Taurino encountered trouble, with the #1 WTR car ending up in the gravel. Brewer avoided the incident and made immediate progress, passing Boucher and Groat to move into sixth in ProAm.
She quickly went on the attack, passing Dinkov on lap four to break into the top five in class. Continuing her charge, Brewer overtook Foster for fourth on lap six, maintaining strong pace in the low 1:26s and closing the gap to the cars ahead.
Foster remained close behind, at times running slightly quicker, but Brewer responded with an impressive 1:26.0 lap. The two traded positions on lap 11, with the recovering Pro entry of Taurino also joining the battle.
A dramatic moment followed when Elias De La Torre’s car caught fire, bringing out a full course yellow with 29 minutes remaining, just ahead of the pit window. Racing resumed on lap 17, with further spins occurring shortly after the restart.
Brewer held fifth place and pitted after another strong stint, having gained two positions in class. Keawn Tandon took over for the final phase of the race.
Tandon rejoined behind a group of Pro cars, navigating through traffic while targeting the #41 WTR and #44 Kaizen Huracans, which still needed to pit. Once they completed their stops, Tandon moved up into third place in ProAm.
Pushing hard with lap times in the 1:25.0 range, Tandon began closing the gap to Siderman, who was just one second ahead. With two laps remaining, AM class leader Bullock went off at Turn 9 and became stranded in the gravel, triggering another full course yellow.
The race ended under caution, but a crucial development saw Siderman receive a 10-second penalty for blocking. This promoted Tandon to second place in class, securing a well-deserved podium after Saturday’s misfortune.
It marked another ProAm podium for Brewer and Tandon, making it three podium finishes from four races. After one of her most convincing performances in Lamborghini Super Trofeo, Lindsay Brewer now sits second in the ProAm championship standings with 40 points.
The next round of the season will take place at Watkins Glen on June 25–27.
