American driver Lindsay Brewer will have her first taste of INDY NXT machinery this week at the Road Course of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, as she is set to take part in the Chris Griffis Memorial Test on Friday, October 20, for Juncos Hollinger Racing.

Brewer has contested her first full USF Pro 2000 season in 2023, after a partial campaign in 2022, having joined the series at Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course and immediately claiming a top ten. She would return to the top ten at Toronto, in her first street ever circuit experience. The 26-year-old from Colorado then announced her return to a second season in the third-tier of the Road to Indy Program, again with Exclusive Autosport.

Kicking off her second season, Brewer focused on learning the track and, with clever driving, she made no mistakes to finish P13. At her return to the familiar IMS, she had a highly positive first race marginally missing out on a top-10 in race 1. She would score a second P12 finish at Road America - another track that she had visited before – which proved how track time directly translated in her best races. She in fact equalled her best result at Toronto, then ran consistently and gained positions with encouraging pace at COTA, after the summer break.

In one of the most competitive fields for the USF Pro 2000 series, Brewer made more steps forward as the season progressed and at the season finale in Portland she scored her best result of the season with a P11 in race 3.

Her debut at the wheel of the significantly more powerful INDY NXT Dallara IL-15 comes at the end of only her third season in professional racing, having previously raced in national karting before a hiatus from motor racing during her studies in Business Administration at San Diego State University.

She will therefore join Antonio Serravalle at Juncos Hollinger Racing for the collective Chris Griffis Memorial Test around the 14-turn, 2.439-mile circuit. The Argentine-American team had lined up two cars for the 2023 season, claiming a victory at the road course of IMS with Matteo Nannini and scoring a further podium at Iowa Speedway.

Juncos Hollinger Racing has recently announced a strategic alliance with Arrow McLaren

Two female drivers will be on track, as Brewer joins Andretti Autosport's Jamie Chadwick, who has announced a return for a second full season in INDY NXT.

At this time, Brewer has not officially announced a full racing schedule for 2024.
