French racer Lola Lovinfosse is set to make her GT racing debut this weekend in Imola, as she joins the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe field after announcing a deal with Schumacher CLRT Racing Team for the upcoming season in the one make series.

The 18 year old Frenchwoman will therefore contest a double racing program alongside her second F1 Academy season, where she competes under the banner of beauty and make-up brand Charlotte Tilbury - in a groundbreaking sponsorship for the motor racing industry - in a Rodin Motorsport entry.

Lovinfosse will share the #76 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 with Jean Baptiste Mela, who graduates to from GT4 machinery after winning a class title in FFSA GT and becoming class Vice-Champion in the GT4 European Series. The two racers will compete in the PRO class for new team Schumacher CLRT Racing Team, in a three car operation for its first season of Lamborghini Super Trofeo.

The move represents a significant step for Lovinfosse, who is widening her motorsport's horizon with a GT programme while continuing on the single seater ladder in the F1-promoted all female championship.

Widely considered one of the most promising talents in karting, Lovinfosse quickly moved up the European ladder with participations in some of the most competitive series in the world - including the IAME Winter Cup, World and European championships, WSK Euro and WSK Super Masters Series.

She made the step up to cars in 2021, when she joined the Spanish F4 Championship, running steadily in the midfield. Unfortunately a second campaign was cut short by budget constraints, but she would return to the track at the end of 2022, when she collected mileage and scored a podium in the Indian Racing League.

At the launch of F1 Academy, Lovinfosse soon seized the opportunity to partner with Campos Racing: her season was off to a great start with a podium on the first round in Austria, followed by 13 point-scoring results, including two more podiums in her home race at Circuit Paul Ricard. She moved to Rodin Motorsport for her second season in F1 Academy - and had strong pace at the opening round in Jeddah, although she couldn't capitalize on her pace after a few incidents.

Having just completed the in-season test at Zandvoort, Lovinfosse will now head to Imola for her Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe debut. For the first time in history, the series will support the FIA World Endurance Championship, and will see a huge grid of over 50 entries.

With no clashes between the Lamborghini one make series and F1 Academy, Lovinfosse is set to contest the full double programme.

After Imola, the championship will visit some of the top racetracks in Europe, such as Spa Francorchamps, Le Mans - in support of the iconic 24 Hours race - Nurburgring, Barcelona and Jerez, which will host the Lamborghini World Finals. Two 50 minute races are scheduled for each meeting, with rolling start and mandatory pit stop.
