F4 CEZ Championship has announced a second female driver on its grid for the upcoming 2024 season: after Polish racer Kornelia Olkucka – who has joined Maffi Racing for her first season in single seaters – Czech driver Michelle Jandová is set to make the leap from karting to formula cars, as she teams up with SAPE Motorsport team.

The 18-year-old steps up from karting after moving up the ranks of National and Continental competitions, in the Easykart categories. She achieved notable results in the Moravia Cup and Czech Championship, before later crossing the borders, where she impressed in the highly competitive environment of the Italian championship.

In the process of adaptation from KZ to formula cars, Jandová committed to a testing program since 2022, when she first drove the second generation Tatuus F4 car at Slovakiaring. The ambitious driver was then part of the initial F4 CEZ Academy project, which is aimed to provide young talents with technical and theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills to prepare for professional motorsport on and off the track.

Jandová is one of the four drivers confirmed for the Central European championship that is witnessing significant development since last year, and which is actively encouraging female participation with its Academy project.

Six triple-header rounds are scheduled, starting from the brand-new Balaton Park Circuit in Hungary in April, before visiting popular European tracks such as Red Bull Ring, Slovakiaring, Most, Brno and Salzburgring.
