In front of her home crowd at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Nerea Martí and BMW España Motorsport teammate José Manuel de los Milagros overcame a challenging qualifying to secure a dominant overall victory in Race 2, in a charging performance from both drivers that boosts their Iberian Supercars Endurance title fight.

Nerea Martí's home race at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia — so close to her home and the stage of some of the landmark moments in her career — was always going to be the most anticipated weekend of her Iberian Supercars Endurance campaign, with family and friends trackside to support and cheer her on. And once again Martí did not disappoint, securing a race victory both overall and in the GT4 Pro class.
Despite a challenging qualifying that left Martí and her teammate José Manuel de los Milagros starting from sixth and seventh in class across the two races — combined with an unfavorable BoP for the BMW M4 GT4 and a pit stop handicap carried over from their Jarama win — the Valencian and her BMW España Motorsport teammate charged through the field in Race 1, securing a top five. They then delivered an unstoppable performance in Race 2, collecting a dominant win both overall and in class.
Spanish racer Nerea Martí, a BMW M Racing Academy driver, has steadily built her career combining single-seaters and GT racing since making her GT debut in 2021 alongside long-time teammate de los Milagros. After finishing third in the 2024 Iberian Supercars Endurance championship, the duo returned in 2025 with the clear goal of fighting at the front of the GT4 Pro field.
Their season began with frustration at Portimão, where unpredictable weather and safety cars limited them to ninth-place finishes, but Martí and de los Milagros bounced back in style at Jarama, securing a victory and a second-place finish with the BMW España Motorsport M4 GT4 Evo to firmly establish themselves as title contenders.

Next up was Martí’s home round at Valencia, though the team first had to contend with Balance of Performance that hampered the #81 BMW’s pure pace in the build-up to the races. In opening practice, the duo was fifth fastest in class with a 1:41.387 lap — six tenths off the overall pace-setter, the #4 Speedy Motorsport Toyota.
In the first qualifying session on Saturday, Martí recorded a best lap of 1:41.877, earning tenth place overall in Q1 and sixth in the GT4 Pro class. De los Milagros then took over for Q2, clocking a 1:41.255, which put them P13 overall and seventh in class on the grid for Race 2. Strategy and tyre management would therefore be critical in the two 50-minute races, which featured a massive 45-car field.
Race 1 on Sunday morning began with the #26 Toyota Supra maintaining the lead at the start. Amid some contacts at Turn 3, Martí settled in 12th overall and seventh in class, taking a cautious approach in the opening stages. On lap two, contact between the NM Racing Mercedes of Aso and the #707 Aston Martin of Videira allowed Martí to slip past both, before passing Lobera for ninth overall while holding seventh in class.
Running consistent 1:43.0 laps, she was soon catching Max Huber before her charge was halted by a safety car for a stranded car in the gravel.
With a 5-second handicap to serve at the pit stop due to previous round results, Martí needed to maximize her stint. After the restart, she passed Huber to climb to seventh overall and sixth in class. As the pit window approached, another safety car neutralized the race. The green flag waved again with 23 minutes left, only for more collisions to bring the race back under caution.
Finally, with 12 minutes to go, Martí pitted and handed over to de los Milagros for the final stint. Rejoining 15th overall, he charged through the field, running 1:45.1 laps and gaining positions. He climbed to 11th overall and fifth in GT4 Pro at the chequered flag.

Race 2 saw de los Milagros take the start from P13 overall and seventh in class. Surviving a chaotic opening lap where a crash at Turn 2 eliminated the leading Toyota, he emerged eighth overall and third in class, passing five cars. With no success handicap to serve this time, the podium was the clear target.
De los Milagros pushed hard, running consistent 1:42s and pulling off a string of overtakes — including a decisive move on Araujo — to climb into fifth overall.
After a safety car for Araujo’s crash, de los Milagros restarted strongly, moving up into third overall and the GT4 Pro lead. As the pit window opened, the #81 BMW cycled into the class lead and second overall before stopping on lap 16, handing the car to home hero Martí.
She rejoined second overall and leading in class, with another safety car deployed for a stranded Porsche. With 10 minutes left, Martí had a good restart and made her move, slipping past the #4 Toyota to take the overall lead before yet another neutralization.
The race eventually ended under caution, sealing a sensational home victory for Nerea Martí — both overall and in GT4 Pro — in front of her home crowd.
“It was so nice to celebrate the victory in front of everyone at home,” Martí said. “Thank you all for coming and always supporting me. Thanks also to the entire BMW Spain team for their hard work this weekend — we worked tirelessly to the finish and climbed to the top of the podium together! What better way to start the second half of the year, with new things to come.”
The second victory of the season gave the pair crucial momentum in their title fight. The Iberian Supercars Endurance series now heads to Jerez for the penultimate round of the season on 1–2 November.
