Reema Juffali's team Theeba Motorsport announced its program for the 2023 season: the Saudi team will continue to build on its successful debut and will enter the Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo in the 2023 GT World Challenge Europe.

The Saudi racing star will therefore enter her second season in sports car racing with a new challenge, in one of the world's most competitive GT3 championships and committed to continue her journey towards the big goal of the 24H of Le Mans.

Having started her racing career in 2018, Juffali cut her teeth in the British open wheel scene before focusing her attention to GT racing at the beginning of 2022, when she started the Dubai 24H for the first time. She was second in class, immediately showing her potential at the wheel of the Mercedes AMG GT3 platform.

Her season continued with the International GT Open season, where she launched her own racing team – Theeba Motorsport, aimed at improving opportunities, representation, diversity and inclusion in motor racing – values close to its groundbreaking founder's heart.

Juffali and teammate Adam Christodoulou won at debut at Estoril, Portugal, and claimed more GT3 ProAm wins at Le Castellet and Red Bull Ring. They would eventually finish second in the championship standings, with six podiums and four class wins.

In her quest to build experience in GT3 competitions, Juffali also entered the 24 Hours of Spa, making her debut in SRO competitions. She took class honours in the Bronze class.

In 2023, Reema Juffali and Theeba Motorsport will try to keep the momentum, building on the GT Open successes: the Saudi organization will take on both the Endurance and Sprint Cups, therefore contesting a total of 10 rounds.

‍‍"We are a newly established team and with little testing last year we had a successful season that I am proud of" – Reema Juffali said. "We now want to challenge ourselves and compete amongst the best by racing in the most competitive championship out there, and the GT World Challenge Europe is that."

"I am looking forward to running a full racing calendar this year with Theeba Motorsport, developing the team, visiting some iconic tracks and of course, working towards achieving some great results."

The first round is scheduled for April 22-23 at Monza, Italy, for the 3 hour race that will open the GT World Challenge Endurance season. The following meetings will be at Brands Hatch, Paul Ricard, Spa-Francorchamps, Misano, Nürburgring, Hockenheim, Valencia, Barcelona, and Zandvoort.

As it expands its operations, Theeba Motorsport will continue to keep the focus on providing a platform for Saudi enthusiasts to learn and participate in motorsport through a variety of initiatives such as internship and apprenticeship programmes.
