Alberton rising star Alice Buckley will step up to the Dunlop Super2 Series this year, driving a former Triple Eight Race Engineering Holden Commodore ZB for her family's team, with support from Matt Stone Racing.

The 18-year-old Australian rising star's #50 Holden Commodore will be run by Alice Buckley Motorsport in a partnership with Matt Stone Racing, which will also run two other Holden Commodore ZB cars for Ayrton Hodson and Tommy Smith.

Buckley comes into Super2 following a breakthrough 2025 season, in which her crowning achievement was winning the Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia Scholarship title with three wins to her name. Her speed wasn't just present in one-make Toyota races however, as she won four times in her limited schedule in the highly-competitive TA2 Racing Muscle Car Series, even qualifying on pole by four tenths over eventual champion and Supercars co-driver Jarrod Hughes at Queensland.

Prior to this, Buckley primarily raced in one-make Toyota 86 championships in both Australia and New Zealand the previous two years, in which she burst onto the spotlight by sweeping all three races of the Queensland round of the TGRA Scholarship series in 2023 as a rookie. Before that, Buckley raced in karts from the age of six, and starred in the 2022 FIA Girls on Track Rising Stars senior shootout, in which she was one of the four finalists.

"I'm so excited to be racing the Holden Commodore in the Dunlop Super2 series this year," Buckley said. "I'm most excited about it being the feeder category for Supercars, and that's where I want to go.”

“We've decided to make the jump this year to a really exciting program," Buckley added. "I’m incredibly appreciative of Matt’s support and grateful to be joining both the Super2 paddock and the Matt Stone Racing development program. I had a great time testing with the team in December last year and definitely felt it was a natural fit."

The Super2 season will kick off on 20-22 February at Sydney Motorsports Park, before heading to Hidden Valley Raceway four months later on 19-21 June and then at Wanneroo Raceway on 31 July-2 August. The second half will see Mount Panorama Circuit as the host of the fourth round of the season on 8-11 October, followed by a trip to Sandown Raceway on 6-8 November and the season finale, held at the Adelaide Street Circuit on 26-29 November.
