Tatiana Calderón will contest the 2026 Stock Car Pro Series with SG28 Racing in a historic all-female line-up, adding Brazil’s premier touring car championship to her extensive international résumé as she continues competing at the highest levels of global motorsport.

Tatiana Calderón will compete in the 2026 Stock Car Pro Series, further expanding her presence at the highest levels of international motorsport. The season is set to begin on March 8 in Curvelo, marking a new chapter in the Colombian driver’s already wide-ranging career.
The only Latin American woman in history to have driven a Formula 1 car, Calderón now adds Brazil’s premier touring car championship to her résumé. The Stock Car Pro Series is widely regarded as the leading motorsport category in South America, boasting a technical level comparable to top international championships and featuring a highly competitive grid that has includes former Formula 1 drivers such as Felipe Massa, Nelson Piquet Jr, and Rubens Barrichello, as well as four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves.
For 2026, Calderón joins SG28 Racing in what will be a historic all-female line-up alongside Brazilian driver Bruna Tomaselli, who graduates from the Stock Light category. The pairing represents a milestone within the championship and further highlights the growing presence of women competing at the forefront of highly prestigious motorsport championships.
The Stock Car Pro Series is known for its strong technical parity between teams and race formats that demand adaptability and consistency across a demanding calendar, making it one of the toughest closed-wheel championships globally.
“I’m very happy to compete in Stock Car Brazil, one of the most competitive categories in the world and a major reference in South America", Tatiana commented. "It will be incredible to share the track with great drivers and to team up with Bruna. We have an important challenge ahead, but I’m confident that together we can do a great job with SG28."
"Brazil has always been and will continue to be one of the biggest references in world motorsport, so I’m ready to take advantage, learn, and enjoy this new and highly competitive environment", the Colombian added. "We have already started preparation in the simulator, and I’m very grateful for this opportunity and excited for our first race as official Stock Car Pro drivers.”
Calderón brings with her one of the most comprehensive résumés in modern motorsport. Her career includes campaigns in FIA Formula 3, FIA Formula 2, a Formula 1 development role, IndyCar, Super Formula, European Le Mans Series and the FIA World Endurance Championship. In recent seasons, she has also competed in IMSA, adding further top-level endurance experience. Toward the end of 2025, she entered the 3H de Costa Rica as a one-off and secured a class victory.
In addition to her racing programme, Calderón acknowledged the continued support of her international partners, including AVL RaceTech, as well as the backing of Karol G’s Con Cora Foundation, highlighting the importance of expanding opportunities for women in elite sport.
With experience spanning virtually every major global motorsport platform and now joining Brazil’s flagship championship, Calderón once again reinforces her status as one of the highest-profile and most accomplished female drivers in the world.
