Coming off a brilliant season in 2023 which included her first top-5s and top-3 finishes, Toni Breidinger will continue to work with Toyota Racing and Venturini Motorsports in a full-time campaign in ARCA Menards Series.
Toni Breidinger will return to Venturini Motorsports for her fifth season in ARCA Menards Series - her second full time campaign. She will pilot the #25 Toyota Camry for the top team.
“I’m really excited to run another full season with Toyota Racing and Venturini Motorsports,” Breidinger said. “Working with Toyota Racing and Venturini Motorsports has given me the tools and resources to develop as a driver.”
The 24 year old has made significant progress over the last couple of years and had a particularly strong 2023 season which saw the California-native collecting her first top-5 finishes, including a top three at Kansas Speedway. Despite a part-time campaign, she scored eight top-10s, four top-5s and was ninth in the championship standings.
In her 2022 season - again at the wheel of a Venturini Motorsports Toyota machine - Breidinger was sixth in the championship.
2023 was a busy year for Breidinger, who also made her debut in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Kansas Speedway and finished a remarkable P15 - making history as the highest-finish female debut in the series. She completed three races in Trucks and collected two top-20. At the same time, she made her debut in sports cars, as she took part in the inaugural season of the Toyota GR Cup North America. In a highly-competitive field, Breidinger made big progress through the season, battled in the top-20 and was the highest-finishing female on three occasions, with a personal best of P17 at Road America.
Her versatility combined with her noticeable improvements over the past years are a very encouraging sign ahead of the 2024 season, as she returns to the ARCA Menards Series with the team that can count 99 ARCA wins and 5 championship titles.
“This is a great opportunity for me and I’m ready to capitalize on the moment", Toni continued. "There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make this all come together and I’m grateful for the support I’ve been able to pursue my dreams. I truly cannot thank my partners enough for believing in not only me, but female athletes. I’m ready to kick off this season with Toyota and VMS at Daytona.”
In the pre-season test at Daytona, Breidinger was second fastest out of 76 entries and clocked a best lap in 48.916 (183.989 mph).
"Her growth behind the wheel is as impressive as I’ve seen with any other driver throughout the years – she’s really come into her own,” team owner Billy Venturini said.
“Toni is a great driver to work with and a real asset to our team. I expect good things from her and the team this year.”
The 2024 season is set to get underway at Daytona International Speedway for the series’ traditional season opening Daytona ARCA 200 on Saturday, February 17.
