Girls Only by WS Racing anounced its full line up for the 2024 racing season which will include 7 races in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) as well as the ADAC 24 Hours of the Nürburgring.

The team has become a successful platform for talented women in motorsport wih its unique format; while more and more teams in sports car racing are relying on fully-female driver crews, Girls Only took the concept to the next level, with the highest female-inclusivity rate including engineers, mechanics and management.

The Girls Only project - launched by Nicole Willems and with support of Giti Tire, Motul, Sachs, has raced at the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife since 2019, first in the TCR class then moving up to the GT4 platform in the SP8-T category. With the BMW M4 GT4, the team conquered the mighty 24 Hours of the Nürburgring in 2021 with a remarkable class win; they would return to the class podium of one of the most challenging races on the planet in the two following editions.

Girls Only by WS Racing announced two-time W Series runner up and former FIA WEC racer Beitske Visser as part of the team: the Dutchwoman - who has experience of formula cars, prototypes and GT racing - will return for the second year to the programme, having also secured a class win in NLS8 in 2023.

British former Indycar driver and Indy500 veteran Pippa Mann will also make her return to the Green Hell for the fourth year in a row; Mann will enter one race of the Nürburgring-based NLS as well as the 52nd running of the ADAC Total Energies 24 Hour race.

The rest of the crew was announced later in the week and will see two other returning names: Fabienne Wohlwend and Carrie Schreiner.

Wohlwend, 26, made headlines when she became the first Ferrari Challenge female world champion in 2018, having won the Ferrari World Finals in Monza. She was then selected for the all-female W Series championship, where she moved back to single seaters and claimed three podiums and a pole position, finishing sixth in two out of three seasons.

Wohlwend has raced at the Nordschleife since 2019 - and at the 24 Hour race since 2021, collecting two podium finishes with Girls Only. In 2023, the driver from Liechtenstein made her debut in the highly competitive ADAC GT4 and, sharing the car with Célia Martin, she made big progress throughout the year scoring points at Sachsenring.

Fabienne will therefore team up again with Mann, Visser and Schreiner - as the 25 year old German will tackle her fifth Nürburgring 24h. The new Sauber Academy driver will contest a multiple program alongside her F1 Academy commitments; Schreiner will in fact race for Campos Racing in her second season of the all-female series in support of F1, having taken a race win in 2023. Previous to her single seater return in 2023, Carrie had established herself as one of the most exciting female talents in GT racing, with podiums and wins in a variety of GT4 and GT3 championships including GTC, Italian GT, Lamborghini Super Trofeo, NLS, GT Masters, 24H Series.

At the Nordschleife, Schreiner was part of the class-winning effort in 2021 with Mann, Martin and Nielsen, and also raced in the top SP9 Pro class.

Girls Only by WS Racing has announced a 7 race program in 2024, but each drivers' schedules were not yet revealed. The 2024 24h Nürburgring will take place on 30 May to 2 June.
