Twenty hours into the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans, Doriane Pin and the #30 Duqueine Team Oreca remain locked in a fierce battle for LMP2 victory, having spent much of the race at the front of the category despite increasing pressure from the two Inter Europol Competition entries. Following a dramatic sequence of pit stops, Full Course Yellows and a lengthy Safety Car intervention, the Duqueine trio continue to lead heading into the final four hours of the race.

In LMGT3, Lilou Wadoux and the #150 Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari remain in the fight for the top ten after another strong night-time effort from the Frenchwoman, with the team continuing its recovery from a 19th-place starting position.

Over the first sixteen hours, Julien Andlauer, Richard Verschoor and Doriane Pin repeatedly traded the lead with Inter Europol Competition through differing pit strategies while consistently producing some of the fastest laps in class. Pin's first stints in particular were instrumental in maintaining the team's advantage, while Verschoor and Andlauer repeatedly rebuilt margins that were erased by neutralizations.

In LMGT3, the Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari steadily worked forward through the field thanks to solid opening stints from Custodio Toledo and excellent pace from both Riccardo Agostini and Lilou Wadoux, who repeatedly brought the Ferrari into top-ten contention despite the car's suboptimal BoP.

As the race entered its seventeenth hour, Custodio Toledo brought the #150 Ferrari into the pits on lap 224, allowing Lilou Wadoux to climb back aboard from 12th position in LMGT3. With the mandatory bronze-rated driving time behind them, the team's focus shifted towards maximizing pace with its pro drivers for the run to the finish.

At the front of LMP2, Richard Verschoor continued to lead the Duqueine challenge, but the pressure was mounting. Nico Müller and Tom Dillmann, both among the fastest drivers in the class, had taken over the chasing Inter Europol Orecas and steadily reduced the advantage to under one minute.

Back in the Ferrari, Wadoux immediately resumed the impressive pace she had shown throughout the night. Although significant gaps remained to the cars ahead, the Frenchwoman quickly began reducing them, often gaining more than three seconds per lap.

She stopped again on lap 234 but remained in the car for another stint. Rejoining in 14th position behind the #57 Kessel Ferrari, Wadoux immediately settled back into the mid-3:57 range and resumed her recovery.

Meanwhile, Verschoor continued to fend off the pressure from the Inter Europol challengers. On lap 250, he brought the #30 Oreca into the pits from the lead and handed the car over to Doriane Pin.

As had happened throughout the race, the differing pit strategies briefly shuffled the order. The Inter Europol entries cycled to the front, but a slow zone during Tom Dillmann's stop significantly altered the situation. The neutralization effectively halved the gap, leaving Pin with only around twenty seconds in hand as she resumed the race lead.

Pin immediately settled into her consistency, repeatedly lapping in the 3:40 range. However, Dillmann and Müller were now chipping away at the advantage.

At the same time, Wadoux continued to quietly rebuild her race. Through a combination of pit cycles and overtakes, she climbed back into 11th position by lap 240.

Several Full Course Yellow periods followed for debris, further complicating the strategies.

Then came one of the biggest moments of the race for Duqueine Team.

Right during a Full Course Yellow period, Pin was forced into an emergency fuel stop that dramatically reduced the advantage. She returned to the track still leading, but now with Dillmann only one second behind and another scheduled stop still required.

One lap later, as racing resumed, Pin returned to pit lane. Nico Müller also stopped, while Tom Dillmann inherited the lead in the #43 Inter Europol Oreca with 6 hours and 37 minutes remaining.

A slower stop had dropped the #30 Oreca behind, and when Dillmann completed his own stop several laps later, the he emerged with an advantage of roughly 25 seconds.

However, the race immediately delivered another twist: the #43 Inter Europol Oreca was called back to the pits with an open door issue. The unscheduled stop dropped the car to third and instantly returned the lead to Doriane Pin, who now found herself 13 seconds clear of Nico Müller's sister #343 Inter Europol entry.

While the LMP2 battle continued to swing back and forth, Wadoux completed another highly effective stint. Running her familiar steady sequence of 3:57 laps, she recovered further positions before stopping on lap 245 and handing the Ferrari back to Riccardo Agostini.

The Italian rejoined in 14th position but quickly resumed his own charge through the field.

Agostini regularly logged 3:56s laps and moved the Ferrari back towards 11th position during one of his strongest stints of the race.

At the front, Pin continued to drive smartly. Despite Müller gradually reducing the gap, the Frenchwoman repeatedly answered with low-3:40 laps and maintained control of the race.

As the clock ticked past the 18-hour mark, Pin still led the race by 9 seconds.

With six hours remaining, Ayhancan Güven suffered a heavy accident aboard the #91 Manthey Porsche after an apparent technical issue sent the car hard into the barriers. Although the driver emerged unharmed, the damage was extensive and a Safety Car was immediately deployed.

For Duqueine Team, Pin's carefully built advantage disappeared instantly. For the #150 Ferrari, however, the neutralization offered an opportunity to erase much of the deficit to the cars ahead.

The leading LMP2 contenders all stopped under the Safety Car. Pin handed the car over to Julien Andlauer, who emerged leading the class ahead of Reshad De Gerus in the #343 Inter Europol Oreca and Nick Yelloly in the sister #43 machine.

In LMGT3, Agostini completed another stop from tenth position and rejoined 12th. The race then remained neutralized for over an hour while extensive barrier repairs were completed.

When racing finally resumed, six LMP2 cars remained on the lead lap.

Andlauer immediately launched into a series of great laps, pulling away from De Gerus almost instantly. The Vector Sport Oreca of Pietro Fittipaldi, another lead-lap contender, soon received a drive-through penalty for a yellow-flag infringement.

Andlauer then unleashed some of the fastest laps of the entire LMP2 race; first came a 3:37.556, then a 3:37.212, before the Frenchman dipped below the 3:37 barrier with a 3:36.690. Each time De Gerus responded with similarly impressive laps, but Andlauer continued to edge the advantage upwards.

De Gerus remained within two seconds, matching many of Andlauer's laps, but the Duqueine driver consistently found just enough extra pace to stay ahead.

As the race entered its final four hours, Andlauer completed another exceptional stint and brought the #30 Oreca into pit lane at the end of lap 290 for the team's 26th stop. The entire leading quartet of LMP2 contenders stopped together, each driver remaining behind the wheel.

Meanwhile, Agostini completed his stint in the Ferrari with a stop on lap 269 from 12th place, handing the #150 Ferrari back to Lilou Wadoux for another attack on the top ten.

With only four hours remaining at the world's greatest endurance race, Doriane Pin and her Duqueine teammates continue to hold the advantage in an increasingly intense LMP2 battle.
