"The car had more grip then what I expected, so it was definitely a good first test in the car" - Dutch racing star Beitske Visser headlined the EuroNASCAR Recruitment Test at Fontenay, quickly adapting to the powerful V8 machinery in wet conditions as she explores opportunities for the 2026 season.

The EuroNASCAR Recruitment Test returned to its traditional home at Circuits de Vendée in Fontenay Le Comte, France, on 5 December 2025, welcoming a fully booked roster of ten international drivers eager to experience the unique challenge of European NASCAR machinery.
With demand exceeding expectations, organisers added additional testing slots on 4 December, ahead of the next scheduled Recruitment Test on 30 January 2026.
Designed as the ideal entry point for racers looking to discover the NASCAR Euro Series, the test gave participants their first opportunity to sample the powerful, raw 5.7-liter V8 stock cars, machines that differ significantly from the cars most European drivers are accustomed to. Selected drivers will be allocated scholarships to enter the series.
Headlining the session was Dutch star Beitske Visser, one of the most versatile and accomplished female drivers. Visser has built an impressive resumé across both single-seaters and sports cars, making her name in ADAC Formel Masters, GP3 Series (now FIA Formula 3) and Formula Renault 3.5, where she claimed a top-five finish.
Her career accelerated when she became a BMW Junior driver, competing in both GT4 and GT3 categories before being selected for the inaugural W Series season in 2019. She emerged as Jamie Chadwick’s closest title rival in both 2019 and 2022, scoring seven podiums and two victories across her time in the championship, where she was twice Vice-Champion.
Visser made her LMP2 debut in 2020 with the Richard Mille Racing Team, joining another all-female squad in the European Le Mans Series and FIA World Endurance Championship. Together they achieved a top-ten finish in class at her maiden 24 Hours of Le Mans. She returned to prototype racing in 2023 with a part-time LMP3 programme in Prototype Cup Germany and a one-off appearance in Ultimate Cup, while also becoming a key member of the Girls Only by WS Racing project at the Nürburgring.
At the wheel of the team's BMW M4 GT4, she has competed in select NLS events and multiple editions of the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring, earning class podiums along the way. In 2025, she added a part-time Toyota GR Cup Spain campaign, where she claimed podium finishes on her debut.
Visser’s presence therefore brought significant attention to the EuroNASCAR test, and despite rainy conditions, she completed a productive day behind the wheel of the championship’s famously demanding machinery, in her first experience driving a EuroNASCAR car.
"I really enjoyed the test, the car is quite different to what I’m used to but I adapted well during the day", Visser commented. "Didn’t get to drive in the dry but in the wet the car had more grip then what I expected, so it was definitely a good first test in the car."
With her vast experience across single-seaters, GT cars, prototypes and touring cars, Beitske Visser now evaluates potential racing opportunities as she looks ahead to the 2026 season.
