American racer Caitlyn McDaniel will return to the GB4 Championship in 2026 with the newly formed Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing team, building on a learning-oriented promising rookie season as she aims for continuous steps forward in her sophomore campaign.

American racer Caitlyn McDaniel will return to the GB4 Championship in 2026, committing to the newly formed Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing outfit for her second season in single-seaters. The London-based driver made her car-racing debut in the category this year and enjoyed a learning-oriented, consistent campaign, becoming one of only four drivers to complete every race distance in the 2025 season.
McDaniel arrived in GB4 with very limited circuit-racing experience, having competed in just one year of karting through the Jamie Chadwick Series prior to stepping up to cars. Despite her inexperience relative to many of her rivals, she secured top-20 finishes nine times over the course of her rookie campaign, with a personal best of 14th at Oulton Park.
A structured testing programme followed her initial outings and culminated in her race debut at Donington Park last April, where she began a season of steady progress.
The Virginia-native gained confidence and mileage, ultimately becoming increasingly competitive by the closing rounds. That momentum has carried into the off-season, where McDaniel has completed all post-season test days with the Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing team. The partnership has now been formalised, marking a new chapter for both the driver and the squad.
“I’m really happy to be joining Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing for my second year in GB4,” McDaniel said. “I’ve really clicked with the team in the testing we’ve done so far, and I just know this is going to be a really exciting place to be this year. I learned a lot in my first season and now need to apply those lessons in a new environment, while adding more refinement to my performances. I can’t wait to resume our testing after the winter break, and really push on towards the new season.”
The combined operation of Nitrous Competitions and ADM Racing will field at least two cars in 2026, with McDaniel confirmed as the first signing of this new era.
“I was very impressed with how Caitlyn handled her first season of racing, and given her lack of experience, she did a really good job", Team Principal Gary Ward praised McDaniel’s progress and potential. "We’ve seen big progression from her in the days we’ve done together already, and I think we’ll see her make another step forward in 2026, working alongside our soon to be announced second driver, who will really help to push her on even further.”
“She’s only participated in two seasons of racing of any sort, and she’s the kind of driver we get excited about working with", echoed co-owner David Williams. “We’re very keen to have a big influence in the development of young up and coming contenders, and Caitlyn gives us a perfect opportunity to play a major role in the development of a driver aiming for big things in her future career.”
With renewed confidence and expanded support, McDaniel now heads into her sophomore GB4 season aiming to build on her solid foundation and take continuous steps forward in 2026.
She is currently the second female entry signed to the 2026 GB4 Championship after Lily-May Watkins announced a return to KMR Sport.
