Iron Dames are set to expand their racing program to Asian Le Mans Series for the first time, as the all female team will enter the upcoming 2024-25 season, marking yet another expansion of their presence in international endurance competitions.

After FIA World Endurance Championship, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans IMSA, European Le Mans Series, Michelin Le Mans Cup, Ligier European Series - as well as a single seater operation in Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine - Iron Dames will in fact tackle the Asian circuits this winter, with Michelle Gatting as the first confirmed driver.

“We are delighted to bring the Iron Dames to the Asian Le Mans Series", Deborah Mayer, founder of the Iron Dames project, said about the new venture. "This decision reflects the continued expansion of our project and our determination to compete at the highest level of endurance racing on different continents."

"The ALMS is an exciting new challenge for the Iron Dames. The team is ready to compete at the highest level, bringing their passion, experience and determination to take on new challenges in Asia.”

The series will be contested over three weekends and six races across Middle East and Asia, featuring a grid of 45 cars, including 28 GT3 machines from six different manufacturers.

Iron Dames will line up a Porsche 911 GT3 R, as the team continues to show great speed with the Porsche platform, including a victory at the 4 Hours of Imola in ELMS earlier this year.

Danish racer Michelle Gatting is the first confirmed driver, with the remaining part of the crew expected to be announced shortly.

The championship kicks off with a double-header at Malaysia's Sepang International Circuit in December 2024, before moving to the Dubai Autodrome and Yas Marina Circuit in February 2025 for an intense schedule that will be crucial part of their preparation for their main 2025 racing programmes.

By competing in Asia and the Middle East, the Iron Dames also aim to spread their message of empowerment and perseverance to a broader audience in these regions.
