Jamie Chadwick will continue her European Le Mans Series programme with IDEC Sport in 2026, remaining at the wheel of the #18 Oreca 07-Gibson in the LMP2 class following a highly competitive rookie campaign in endurance racing.
IDEC Sport has confirmed its LMP2 line-up for the upcoming ELMS season, with Chadwick joined in the #18 entry by Laurents Hörr and Valerio Rinicella, the latter stepping up to prototypes after progressing through the single-seater ranks. The trio will form part of IDEC Sport’s close technical and sporting partnership with Genesis Magma Racing, with the ELMS effort continuing to serve as a key platform for the manufacturer’s Trajectory Programme.
Chadwick’s return to IDEC also comes alongside an expanded role within the Genesis Magma Racing project. As previously announced, the British driver will act as Reserve Driver for the brand’s maiden FIA World Endurance Championship Hypercar programme in 2026.
The three-time W Series champion made her prototype debut in 2025 as part of the Trajectory Programme, contesting both the European Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans with IDEC Sport. Sharing the #18 Oreca with Mathys Jaubert and Daniel Juncadella, Chadwick enjoyed an outstanding first season in LMP2, rapidly establishing herself as a front-running contender. The trio claimed three class victories across the year, two of which also delivered overall race wins, and Chadwick ultimately finished third in the drivers’ championship.
Her adaptation to endurance racing was evident from the opening round at Barcelona, where the IDEC crew secured the LMP2 class victory and finished second overall. Chadwick followed that up with her first outright win at Le Castellet in only her second start in prototypes. Although contact for Juncadella ruled the team out of points contention at Imola and a post-race penalty denied them a podium finish at Spa-Francorchamps, a commanding victory at Silverstone in mixed conditions reignited their title challenge heading into the season finale.
At Portimão, a solid third-place finish delivered Chadwick’s fourth podium of the year and sealed third place in the final standings. Her performances were further recognised with a first Hypercar test in the Genesis Magma Racing GMR-001 at Magny-Cours.
The 2026 programme represents continuity for Chadwick, who will again contest the six rounds of the European Le Mans Series with IDEC Sport in the LMP2 class. The new season is set to begin with the 4 Hours of Barcelona in April, where Chadwick and her new driver line-up will look to build on the momentum generated last year.
