Newly-launched Forsetti Motorsport will line up an all-female team in the upcoming GT Cup Championship, with Jodie Sloss and Rianna O'Meara-Hunt set to share the #10 Aston Martin Vantage GT4 in a two car operation for the British team.

Forsetti Motorsport was launched at the beginning of 2024 but is already establishing itself as one of the fastest growing organizations in the UK, with programs in British GT and GT Cup following an impressive GT Winter Series campaign as preparation.

Jodie and Rianna will compete in the popular GTH category and will be aiming to build on the team's success in GT Winter Series with the new 17A Vantage GT4 platform.

"I’m thrilled to announce I’ll be competing in the GT Cup Championship this season with Forsetti Motorsport in the Aston Martin GT4", stated Sloss. "I’ll be partnering up with the amazing Rianna O’Meara-Hunt to join her and the Aston Martin family."

"I’m grateful for the opportunity to be involved with such a prestigious British car manufacturer and continue to progress over this season", the young Scottish racer continued. "I’ve worked so endlessly hard with every opportunity that’s created and I’m incredibly grateful to all the people that have helped this happen."

Sloss contested a part-time Porsche Open Cup campaign in 2023, stepping onto the podium in each of her three outings while driving a 2010 Porsche 991 Cup car significantly older and less powerful than most of her competitors.

Having excelled in the Formula Woman programme, Sloss won the competition and earned a place on the GT Cup Championship grid in 2022, where she drove a McLaren 570S GT4.

Despite having no prior racing experience, Sloss showed great potential at debut.

She will aim to combine the experience collected over the last couple of years for an even more competitive 2024.

Alongside Jodie Sloss, New Zealander Rianna O'Meara-Hunt will return to the Aston Martin platform after competing in the 2023 SRO GT4 America, where she claimed a double victory in the final round of the season at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, in another all-female crew at Heart of Racing.

"I’m so excited to share that I will be continuing my partnership with Aston Martin with Forsetti Motorsport racing in the GT Cup Championship alongside the fantastic Jodie Sloss", Rianna wrote at the announcement.

"I have made the move from Kiwi land to the UK to make the next step in my racing career, and I cannot wait to get started! Let’s have a crack!"

O'Meara-Hunt has in fact moved to Europe to pursue her sportscar career and entered earlier this year a partial campaign in GT Winter Series, in BMW GT4 machinery.

She has previously made headlines in national and international karting – where she was Australian Rotax State Champion as well as New Zealand Rotax Max Challenge race winner and North Island Champion in the DVS Senior Class – before stepping up to cars in 2022, in the highly competitive Toyota 86 Championship as part of the inaugural The Heart of Racing Academy.

Having been selected for the GT4 America race seat following a driver shootout, she would claim three top-5 finishes in the AM class as well as top-20s overall. Alongside her teammate Hannah Grisham, she took the historic double win at the Indianapolis season finale.

O'Meara-Hunt entered the 2024 Dubai 24 Hours for the first time, then collected two ProAm class podium finishes at Jerez in GT Winter Series.

O'Meara-Hunt and Sloss tested at Donington Park earlier this month, as part of the media day. Donington will also host the first round of the season on April 20-21; the following six race meetings will be held at Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Oulton Park, Silverstone, Donington and Snetterton again, which will round out the season in October.
