Kaká Magno is set to return to the Stock Light championship for the 2026 season, signing with the highly successful W2 Racing ProGP team as she prepares for her fourth campaign in Brazil’s premier feeder series to Stock Car, where she will be the only woman on the grid.

Brazilian driver Kaká Magno has confirmed her return to the Stock Light championship for the 2026 season, signing with the highly successful W2 Racing ProGP team as she prepares for her fourth campaign in Brazil’s premier feeder series to Stock Car. The Curitiba-born racer, one of the leading female representatives in Brazilian motorsport, will be the only woman on the grid.
With more than 17 years of racing experience, Magno brings extensive national and international credentials to the Rio de Janeiro-based squad. Her career includes a significant period competing in Italy, where she gained valuable international experience that has shaped her development as a driver. Entering 2026, she arrives determined to build on her steady progression within the Stock Light category and challenge for stronger results.
The move marks a new chapter for Magno, who joins one of Brazil’s most decorated racing teams. W2 Racing ProGP, led by former racing driver Duda Pamplona alongside team director Serafim Júnior, has accumulated multiple titles across various national championships and is widely considered one of the benchmark operations in Brazilian motorsport.
Pamplona welcomed the partnership, revealing that discussions between the driver and team had been ongoing for some time before finally coming together for the new season.
“We are very happy to welcome Kaká to the team,” said Pamplona. “We came very close to making this partnership happen in 2025, and now in 2026 we’ve been able to make it a reality. We will work hard to provide the best car and structure so she has the ideal conditions to achieve her best season in the category.”
For Magno, joining W2 Racing ProGP represents the fulfilment of a long-standing professional goal and a major opportunity to fight closer to the front of the field.
“I’m very happy to be part of W2,” she said. “I arrive extremely motivated, with the same energy and determination as if it were my first season in Stock Light. It’s a very high-level category, just like the team, which has always been a target in my career. We couldn’t make this partnership happen in 2025, but in 2026 it worked out at the right time. I’m very grateful to Duda Pamplona and Serafim Júnior for the opportunity, and we will work together to achieve the best results.”
The 2026 season is expected to be a milestone year for the Curitiba driver, who combines increased experience and maturity with access to top-level equipment for the first time in her Stock Light career.
Her campaign will be supported by a strong group of partners, including Gela Boca, Lindoya Verão, Mili, Rede Salvaro, Copel, Sicredi Novos Horizontes, Unicesumar, Uniformes Paraná, Ademicon Pinheirinho, Gestamp and BYD Servopa, as she sets her sights on fighting for podium finishes throughout the season.
