Polish racer Kornelia Olkucka is set to embark on a new chapter in her motorsport career as she makes her GT4 debut in the Italian GT Championship, joining the GT4 Italy field alongside a parallel campaign in the GTC Endurance Championship. The young driver will compete behind the wheel of a Mercedes-AMG GT4 run by Lema Racing, marking her transition from single-seater racing to GT competitions.

The double programme represents a significant step forward for Olkucka, who views the move as an important milestone in her development as a racing driver.

“For me, this is a huge step and the next stage of growth – more pursuing, more experience and even more motivation to push my own limits,” she said ahead of the season.

Olkucka’s motorsport journey began in competitive karting at the age of 14 in the Junior category of the Rotax Max Challenge Poland. She quickly progressed through the ranks, advancing to the senior classes before competing in the DD2 category of the Rotax Max Challenge Poland Cup, where she gained valuable experience across national as well as Central and Eastern European competitions.

In 2022, she represented Poland at the second edition of the FIA Motorsport Games, competing in the karting endurance discipline - an experience that further broadened her international racing exposure. Soon after, Olkucka began preparing for a move into single-seaters, completing her first Formula 4 test and launching a structured training programme aimed at a full F4 debut.

She therefore made her Formula 4 debut with Maffi Racing in the Formula 4 Central European Zone championship, where she enjoyed a promising rookie campaign. Despite limited pre-season testing, she scored points on nine occasions, with a sixth-place finish at Brno standing as her best result of the season.

Her consistent progress earned her a contract renewal for 2025, when she undertook a dual preparation programme beginning with the Formula Winter Series before stepping up to the highly competitive Italian Formula 4 Championship.

Competing in Italian F4 provided Olkucka with further valuable experience against one of the strongest junior grids in the world. She achieved a personal best result of 22nd place at Vallelunga and showed continued improvement during the latter stages of the season, where her pace and confidence in the car took more steps forward.

Now, Olkucka turns the page toward GT racing, with her dual GT4 campaign designed to accelerate her adaptation to endurance-style competitions and multi-class racing dynamics. Driving the Mercedes-AMG GT4 with Lema Racing, she aims to build experience quickly in GT machinery and continues her progression up the motorsport ladder.
