Lindsay Brewer continued her superb start to the 2026 Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America season by adding another ProAm podium at Watkins Glen International, securing third place in Race 1 alongside teammate Keawn Tandon before following it up with another top five in Race 2.

Three rounds into their first season together in the ProAm category, Brewer and Tandon have now claimed four podium finishes in the first three rounds, and remain among the class title contenders heading into the second half of the season.

After finishing vice-champion in the AM class with two victories and a string of podium finishes during her rookie Lamborghini Super Trofeo campaign in 2025 following the transition from single-seaters, Brewer stepped up to the ProAm category for 2026, joining Forty7 Motorsports alongside Keawn Tandon.

The pairing immediately emerged among the class front-runners by securing second and third-place finishes at the Sebring season opener before enjoying another highly competitive weekend at Laguna Seca. Although a post-race penalty demoted them from second to fifth in Race 1, they bounced back with an excellent drive to second place in Race 2, collecting their third ProAm podium from the opening four races and climbing to second in the championship standings.

The third round of the season took the championship to the iconic Watkins Glen International circuit, sharing the paddock with the IMSA Six Hours of The Glen weekend.

Practice began on Thursday in difficult mixed-weather conditions, providing another learning challenge for the competitors. Brewer and Tandon immediately looked competitive despite the changing weather, ending the opening practice session as the third-fastest ProAm crew while placing close to the overall top ten. Heavier rain during the second practice session significantly reduced meaningful running, making the session far less representative.

Qualifying began on Friday morning with Tandon taking the wheel for Q1. After opening with a 1:51.4, Tandon found substantial pace on his next run, producing a 1:46.940 to move into second place in the ProAm class and eighth overall. Although he improved his first sector on his final attempt, he was unable to improve his overall lap time further, nevertheless securing an excellent second-place starting position in class.

Brewer took over for the second qualifying segment aboard the #77 Forty7 Motorsports Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2.

Her opening representative lap of 1:51.0 initially placed her sixth in the ProAm class, but the session soon became complicated. Brewer received a drive-through penalty for a pit entry violation just as the tyres were in their peak performance. After serving the penalty she returned to the track and improved her opening sector, but with the tyres already past their optimum window and with traffic affecting her lap, she could not improve further, ending the session eighth in ProAm and 25th overall.

Friday afternoon's opening 50-minute race saw Tandon lining up second in the ProAm class.

The start proved clean despite the busy 41-car field, with everyone negotiating Turn 1 safely.

Tandon made an outstanding getaway, immediately gaining two positions overall by overtaking a pair of Pro class entries while retaining second place in the ProAm category behind Danny Formal.

Settling quickly into an impressive rhythm, Tandon dropped below the 1:49 barrier with a 1:48.4 before repeatedly matching those times over the following laps.

Running just half a second behind Wallis in the battle for fifth overall, Tandon's primary objective became opening a comfortable margin over the chasing ProAm competitors. He successfully built an advantage of approximately nine seconds over Henry in third.

A spin into the tyre barriers for Boucher fortunately did not trigger a caution, allowing Tandon to continue extending his advantage uninterrupted. However, when Angelo Dinkov spun and became stranded at Turn 8, a Full Course Yellow was eventually deployed with only one minute remaining before the pit window was due to open.

The neutralisation completely erased the 15-second cushion Tandon had established over the rest of the ProAm field. The pit window was delayed before racing resumed with 23 minutes remaining.

Almost immediately after the restart another incident unfolded when Jaden Conwright crashed in the Esses, although he was able to continue. Tandon negotiated the restart well and immediately focused on rebuilding some of his advantage before the mandatory driver changes.

When the pit window finally opened on lap 14, many teams elected to stop immediately. The Forty7 Motorsports squad instead extended Tandon's stint by one additional lap, briefly promoting him to third overall before he finally pitted on lap 15.

Brewer took over the Lamborghini and rejoined second in ProAm while maintaining seventh overall after the pit cycle. She immediately settled into consistent pace, recording laps in the 1:51 range. A drive-through penalty for Lawley promoted Brewer to sixth overall, while she also enjoyed a healthy five-second advantage over the chasing ProAm rivals.

Traffic from several faster Pro class cars briefly interrupted her rhythm and cost valuable time, allowing Marc Miller in the #41 Wayne Taylor Racing Lamborghini to significantly reduce the gap.

Once Brewer cleared the traffic she immediately responded with an excellent 1:50.8 lap, almost matching Miller's pace, although the experienced driver had already closed to within two seconds.

Miller answered with another strong lap and eventually found a way through for second in the ProAm class with just two minutes remaining. Brewer, however, continued to produce consistently competitive laps in the low 1:51 range while maintaining control over the battle for the final podium position.

Holding a six-second advantage over Fuentes, she comfortably secured third in the ProAm class and eighth overall, adding another podium finish and another overall top-ten result to the team's excellent season.

Saturday's second race offered another opportunity to continue their momentum. Brewer started from eighth in the ProAm class.

The opening lap remained clean through the notoriously difficult first corner, with Brewer immediately gaining several overall positions while successfully navigating the congested midfield. She retained eighth in class and overtook the Fitzpatrick in the #89 AM entry during the opening stages.

Disaster struck on lap two when Gdovic, Towns and Lawley were involved in a huge accident through the Esses. Following contact during a battle, Gdovic hit the barriers before being collected at high speed, bringing out the red flag. Brewer successfully avoided the incident and emerged in 22nd overall.

With the race stopped, the clock continued running before the field resumed behind the safety car with only 21 minutes remaining, leaving little time before the mandatory pit window.

Green flag racing resumed on lap five.

Brewer immediately delivered an excellent restart, climbing to sixth in the ProAm class and 19th overall.

The mandatory pit window opened one lap later with 17 minutes remaining; Brewer pitted from fifth place in the ProAm category to hand over to Tandon.

Unfortunately, the Forty7 Motorsports crew was subsequently handed a penalty for a false start.

Tandon rejoined seventh in class knowing he would need to build enough of a gap to minimise the effect of the post-race penalty.

However, another collision between Coebbe and Courtney triggered a further Full Course Yellow with 11 minutes remaining. The race never returned to green-flag conditions, ending under caution after featuring only a couple of green-flag lap in each driver's stint following the earlier red flag.

The unusual sequence of cautions and pit stops left the provisional classification uncertain while officials reviewed mandatory pit stop compliance and other race infringements. Once all post-race penalties had been applied, Tandon and Brewer were classified fifth in the ProAm class and 23rd overall.

Although the penalty denied them another podium opportunity, several competitors ahead were also penalised for failing to complete their mandatory pit stops correctly, allowing the Forty7 Motorsports duo to salvage another valuable championship result.

Following another highly competitive weekend, Brewer and Tandon leave Watkins Glen with four ProAm podium finishes from the opening three championship rounds, continuing a highly-positive start to the season.

The Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America championship now heads to Road America on 30 July-1 August, marking the halfway point of the season as Brewer and Tandon continue their pursuit of their first ProAm win.
