Megan Bruce will make her full-time debut in the 2026 F1 Academy season, with the 21-year-old British racer set to represent TAG Heuer, the series’ Official Partner. Bruce will compete in the TAG Heuer entry operated by Campos Racing as she embarks on her first complete campaign in the all-female single-seater championship.
Bruce’s rise through the ranks has been rapid. She began racing competitively just three years ago, entering the 2023 Caterham Academy. Despite her relative inexperience, she quickly demonstrated strong progression, securing her first podium finish after only five races. The following year, she stepped up to the Caterham 270R Championship, continuing to build valuable racecraft and consistency.
Alongside her Caterham commitments, Bruce made her single-seater debut in the 2024 GB4 Championship. In her rookie season, she secured nine top-10 finishes, making good progress ovre the season. Returning for a sophomore campaign, she improved further, recording a career-best fourth-place finish at Oulton Park. Over the course of the season, Bruce consistently led the female entries in GB4 for most of the year.
Her growing reputation earned her a place at the inaugural F1 Academy Rookie Test at Circuito de Navarra, where she impressed by setting two top-four times across the sessions.
Bruce’s first competitive appearance in F1 Academy came sooner than expected: she in fact made a one-off debut at the penultimate round of the 2025 season in Singapore, stepping into the TAG Heuer entry to substitute for the injured Aiva Anagnostiadis. The opportunity meant missing the final round of the GB4 Championship, but it provided crucial experience at international level. She further supplemented her single-seater mileage by contesting rounds of the F4 Saudi Arabian Championship, where she secured a best finish of seventh.
Now preparing for her first full F1 Academy season, Bruce will look to translate that early experience into consistent results as she joins forces with Campos Racing for 2026.
Speaking about her step up to F1 Academy, Bruce said: “I’m really excited to be joining TAG Heuer and Campos Racing for the 2026 F1 Academy season. TAG Heuer have a major presence in motorsport and supporting many successful athletes in F1 and other sports."
“Having started this journey just three years ago, I’m super grateful for their belief in me and giving me this opportunity. I had a great time getting my first taste of F1 Academy in Singapore, learning so much, so I can’t wait to work with Campos Racing and get this season started.”
