Nina Gademan will return to F1 Academy for a sophomore campaign in 2026 after Alpine confirmed that the Dutch racer will once again represent the team in the all-female championship. After an encouraging rookie season, the 22-year-old is set to build on her first full year in the series as she targets further success and a potential title challenge.

Gademan enjoyed a strong debut campaign in 2025, highlighted by her first F1 Academy victory on home soil at Zandvoort. She added three further podium finishes in Montreal and Las Vegas and ended the season sixth in the overall standings, becoming one of the most consistent newcomers on the grid.

Her performances confirmed the promise she had shown even before her full-time debut, after an outstanding wild card appearance at the Dutch Grand Prix weekend in 2024, where she battled for the podium in both races and finished fourth in Race 1. With 13 points scored, she was the highest-placed wild card entry of the entire season.

For 2026, Gademan will make a team switch, moving from Prema Racing to Dutch outfit MP Motorsport. The partnership brings her into one of the most successful teams in the series and offers the added motivation of racing with a home squad as she looks to take the next step in her career.

“I’m really happy to be part of the MP Motorsport family for next year”, she said. “They have been strong performers in F1 Academy from the start, and it’s always an advantage to race with your home team."

“With the experience and circuit knowledge that I gained this year, I feel that I am ready to challenge for more wins and the title in 2026. The team and I aim to use the winter ahead to fully prepare ourselves for the season kick-off at Shanghai in March, when I hope you will see me fighting right at the front.”

After a very promising karting career, Gademan made her single-seater debut in 2024 in the British Formula 4 Championship, where her campaign was focused on learning and development. Over the course of the season, she showed steady progress and strong racecraft in close battles, gradually moving closer to the top ten and gaining valuable experience in high-level junior formula racing.

Ahead of her full-time F1 Academy debut, Gademan further prepared through the Formula Winter Series and later contested the Saudi Arabian Championship at the end of the year, where she claimed overall podium finishes and secured the Female Trophy title.

Now, after a solid first year with Alpine backing and a maiden victory already to her name, Gademan enters 2026 with clear ambitions; with increased experience, a new partnership with MP Motorsport, and the confidence gained from her rookie campaign, the Dutch driver will aim to run regularly at the front and mount a challenge for wins.
