Fourteen-year-old rising talent Vicky Farfus has confirmed the next milestone in her young motorsport career, announcing her entry into the 2026 Ginetta Junior Championship as she makes her racecar debut after graduating from karting.

The Brazilian, daughter of renowned endurance racer Augusto Farfus, is rapidly establishing her own identity in motorsport, emerging as one of the most promising prospects of her generation following an impressive karting career. Among her achievements is a remarkable fourth-place finish at the 2025 FIA Karting World Cup, where she made history as the first female driver ever to secure a top-five result in an FIA karting event.

Farfus’ rise through karting has been characterised by consistent performances and an approach beyond her years. Known for her strong work ethic and competitive mindset, she has demonstrated determination while steadily refining her racecraft, laying the essential foundations for long-term success in professional motorsport.

Her move into the Ginetta Junior Championship marks a significant step: the UK-based series, open to drivers aged 14 to 17, is the longest-running and one of the most prestigious junior championships in the country, widely recognised as a key development platform for young drivers transitioning from karting to circuit racing. Competing in the highly competitive one-make category will therefore provide Farfus with an important environment to further develop her technical skills, race awareness, and consistency.

Farfus will compete with Paradine Competition team, and will be part of the Iron Dames project, whose mission focuses on promoting excellence, opportunity, and greater female representation within motorsport.

“I’m really excited about the opportunity to compete in the Ginetta Junior Championship,” Farfus said. “It’s a big step for me, and I’m fully focused on learning, improving, and giving my best every time I’m on track. I would like to thank everyone who supports me and makes this new step possible. Representing Iron Dames is a source of great pride and a constant motivation to push harder every day driven by my passion for motorsport and the dream of a career I’ve always believed in.”

As she prepares for her car racing debut in 2026, Farfus enters the championship aiming to build experience, continue her development, and lay the foundations for the next phase of what is already shaping up to be a highly promising motorsport career.
