Women are a hot topic in motorsport right now, but will we see a woman in Formula E soon?
Thanks to championships like W Series and F1 Academy, women are under a huge spotlight in motorsport right now. Not only have the two championships highlighted the issues women face within the industry, but they’ve proved that there are huge numbers of women that want to be included and want to race at the top levels.
In 2024 Formula E decided to play a part in the story of women in motorsport by hosting their first women’s test, giving women from different motorsport backgrounds the opportunity to test current Formula E machinery on the same track as the full-time drivers.
