Zoe Florescu steps up to a full 2026 F4 Spain campaign with Tecnicar by AMTOG after a promising Formula 4 debut in the Winter Championship, aiming to build experience and continue her development in one of Europe’s most competitive junior categories.

Tecnicar by AMTOG has confirmed that Romanian driver Zoe Florescu Potolea will remain with the team for the 2026 F4 Spain Championship, continuing a collaboration that began earlier this year during her Formula 4 debut in the Spanish Winter Championship.
The announcement represents Florescu’s single-seater first full campaign, as she transitions from her initial introduction to Formula 4 machinery into a full-season within one of Europe’s most competitive junior single-seater series.
Zoe first joined Tecnicar by AMTOG during the 2026 Spanish Winter Championship, where after a pair of outings in Formula Winter Series, she made her first appearances in Formula 4 competitions. Competing in a demanding environment against experienced rivals, the young driver demonstrated steady progress throughout the winter campaign, showing good potential during race conditions.
Her continuation with the team reflects a natural progression of a programme already underway, allowing both driver and team to capitalize on the working relationship and shared technical understanding developed during the winter-season series.
The experience gained during the Winter Championship is expected to provide a strong foundation as Florescu prepares for a full championship effort, with the focus now shifting toward consolidating performance and accelerating development across the 2026 season.
“We are very happy to continue with Zoe for this new stage,” said Team Principal Javier Lapeña, highlighting the importance of continuity following the initial collaboration. “Her debut with the team during the Winter Championship allowed us to see her attitude, her work ethic and her margin for growth within the category. The objective now is to keep building on that foundation and support her development throughout the 2026 season.”
“I am very happy to continue with Tecnicar by AMTOG for the 2026 F4 Spain season,” Florescu said. “The Winter Championship was a very important experience to begin my journey in Formula 4 with the team, and now I am really looking forward to continuing to learn, work and grow during this new season.”
Tecnicar by AMTOG enters the 2026 F4 Spain Championship aiming to build progressively on Florescu’s early development, targeting consistent improvement as she gains further experience in single-seaters.
The calendar features seven triple-header rounds, starting from Valencia Ricardo Tormo on 10-12 April, up to the season finale in Barcelona-Catalunya on 6-8 November.
