After gaining experience across multiple Porsche one-make series with including two guest appearances in Porsche Carrera Cup Germany in 2025, Alexandra Vateva will now return full-time to the series with Target Competition in 2026.

Bulgarian driver Alexandra Vateva is no stranger to the world of Porsche Cup racing. After gaining experience across several Porsche one-make series worldwide - including two guest appearances in one of the world’s toughest championships in 2025, she will now return full-time to the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany with Target Competition in 2026.
Selected as part of the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland Talent Pool Program, Alexandra Vateva progressed from racing a Porsche Cayman GT4 in 2023 to piloting a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) in 2024, securing multiple podium finishes and making history along the way.
Building on this experience, she made a one-off appearance in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux at Spa-Francorchamps, where she claimed class victories in both Belgian races and ultimately won a thrilling battle for the overall victory in race two.
The Bulgarian driver concluded her 2024 season with a brilliant performance in the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland at the Hockenheimring, winning the one-hour endurance race alongside Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup racer Robert de Haan.
She then made history as the first-ever female driver to compete in the Porsche Cup Middle East with Lechner Racing in 2025, securing multiple class podiums and an overall top-five finish. Alexandra experienced a challenging campaign in the Porsche Cup Benelux, where bad luck and technical issues ultimately forced an early end to her season, before making her Porsche Carrera Cup Germany debut during the final two events of 2025, also as part of the "Supported by the Iron Dames" program. Vateva secured an impressive top-20 finish overall and a rookie podium.
With determination and momentum, Vateva also demonstrated strong race pace in the following Porsche Cup Middle East during the winter as preparation for the 2026 season, where she will launch her full campaign with Target Competition across eight rounds beginning in April at Imola.
"This is a huge step forward in my career and I will most certainly give it everything I’ve got", Vateva said. "I’m beyond grateful to be able to drive this prestigious championship and super excited to get my first laps in the new 992.2 cup in the meantime!"
